The Kanani Legacy

The legacy of the Kanani Conference Rooms is not simply that two rooms were named. It is that a family gift helped convert unused clinical space into places where students and faculty could gather, think and learn together.

The 2011 UBC Dentistry feature remains the primary public record for the rooms. It documents the dedication, identifies the family members named at the time and explains the educational purpose of the renovated spaces. This website builds around that record rather than replacing it.
