The documented history
From decommissioned clinic space to small-group learning rooms
UBC Dentistry described an old clinic area in the John B. Macdonald Building that had become unused and difficult to renovate. The redevelopment created seminar rooms and flexible study space beside a computer learning centre.
The Faculty’s account emphasized the practical benefit: students could concentrate on cases, use large shared monitors and work in groups without the distractions that affected other study areas.
